Ukraine’s PP imports up 4% in January-May

MOSCOW (MRC)–Ukraine’s polypropylene (PP) imports totalled 49,800 tonnes in January-May, up 4% year on year, according to MRC’s DataScope report.
Imports of homopolymer PP stood at 36,400 tonnes in the first five months of 2021, down 2% year on year, while PP block copolymers imports were at 5,300 tonnes, up sharply from 4,100 tonnes.
PP random copolymer imports stood at 6,600 tonnes in January-May, compared with 5,800 tonnes a year earlier.
Imports of other propylene copolymers totaled over 1,400 tonnes during the period. .
