London (ICIS)–The crude market looked to make gains on rising demand expectations as the world focused on the post-pandemic phase.

OPEC said it might not be able raise production fast enough to cope with increasing demand. This, coupled with US Gulf Coast outages could see prices go even higher in the final quarter of 2021.

India oil imports jumped in August, which showed the country made a recovery after its coronavirus outbreak earlier this year.
