Russia’s Stavrolen resumes HDPE production

MOSCOW (MRC)–Russian polyolefins producer Stavrolen is restarting its high density polyethylene (HDPE) production after a scheduled turnaround, according to an MRC Price report.
The 30-day outage ended on 17 November.
The plant’s production capacity is 300,000 tonnes/year.
Stavrolen has also resumed its polypropylene (PP) production after repairs; it has the capacity to produce 120,000 tonnes/year of PP.
