PODCAST: Europe, Asia IPA demand weak, further export interest limited

LONDON (ICIS)–The availability of Asian isopropanol (IPA) in Europe has increased during May compared with previous months, although weak demand and ample supply is limiting further interest in this tradeflow.

IPA is a solvent used in many industrial and consumer products and as an extractant. Applications include cosmetics, personal care products (hand sanitizers), de-icers, paints and resins, pharmaceuticals and inks and adhesives.
