LONDON (ICIS)--European November dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) contract reference prices fell by around €33/tonne ($45/tonne) from October on Friday, following a decrease in the monthly contract price of the primary raw material paraxylene (PX).
The DMT price range is now at €939-980/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), according to ICIS.
The European November PX contract price settled at €1,055/tonne, down €53/tonne from the previous month, as the initial settlement heard earlier in the month received further support from buyers and sellers.
