SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Zhengzhou Naweigao Fertilizer plans to shut its nitrogen phosphorus potassium (NPK) units that have a combined capacity of 2m tonnes/year, for maintenance from 25 January, a company source said on Friday.
The company has a total of seven NPK units in the provinces of Henan and Hubei in central China.
The plants are expected to be restarted on 7 February, the source said.
Orders for NPK are limited in the weeks leading to the Lunar New Year holidays, the source said.
The Lunar New Year falls on 31 January.
