LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European monoethylene glycol (MEG) April contract has been agreed at €900/tonne, a rollover from March, the supplier involved said on Wednesday.
The contract was done on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
“It's on the higher side. Asia reducing the previous month, ethylene has reduced this month, so there is no reason for settling at a rollover…We are not very happy,” a buyer said.
The buyer involved in the settlement could not be reached.
