Japan’s Taiyo Vinyl restarts PVC plant after turnaround

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Taiyo Vinyl has restarted one of its three polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plants after completing maintenance,  a company source said on Wednesday.

The 310,000 tonne/year PVC facility located in Yokkaichi was shut down for maintenance on 13 March and brought back on line on 26 April, according to the company source.

Taiyo Vinyl’s remaining two PVC plants will be shut down for maintenance separately for three weeks in August and September.
