LONDON (ICIS)--March exports from the EU of diethanolamine (DEA) to the rest of the world fell 81% year on year, according to data from Eurostat on Wednesday.

The move comes against a background of stronger demand within Europe, limited availability and increases in spot and contract pricing. In addition, imports from Russia and from the US have been more limited.

DEA is the most exported ethanolamine, with demand and prices in other regions normally stronger than in Europe.
