SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Sinopec has raised the commercial supply of Group I and II base oils from its subsidiary plants by 7% month on month to 15,000 tonnes in September, a company source said on Thursday.
This was boosted by the doubling of supply from Sinopec Jingmen to 2,000 tonnes during the period.
Sinopec Gaoqiao’s monthly supply steadied at 4,000 in August-September after it deferred maintenance at its 300,000 tonne/year Group II unit from August to October.
Supply from Henan Oilfield was at 2,000 tonnes.
Supply from Sinopec Maoming and Jinan were flat at 5,000 tonnes and 2,000 tonnes, respectively.
Sinopec supplied 14,000 tonnes of Group I and II base oils to the domestic market in August.
