US propane stocks rise on demand drop

HOUSTON (ICIS)–US supplies of propane rose last week, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

Total domestic stocks rose to 72.2m bbl from 69.2m bbl the prior week. Year on year, supplies are down 25% from 96.1m bbl.

Demand fell to 942,000 bbl/day from 1.004m bbl/day during the previous week.

Production strengthened, climbing by 23,000 bbl/day to 1.885m bbl/day.
