US gasoline supplies fall on lower production

HOUSTON (ICIS)–US gasoline supplies fell last week the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Thursday.

Supplies fell to 226.738m bbl, from 229.937m bbl the prior week. Year on year, supplies are 0.7% weaker than 227.8m bbl.

Consumption fell to 9.163m bbl/day from 9.846m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, consumption is down from 9.595m bbl/day.

Production fell to 9.486m bbl/day from 10.316m bbl/day the prior week. Year on year, production is down from 10.177m bbl/day.
