According to the letter, the company will lift its force majeure on PE production from its Matagorda, Chocolate Bayou, Victoria and LaPorte plants in Texas.
The company had declared force majeure on PE from the plants on 28 August, owing to Hurricane Harvey’s impact on the US Gulf coast.

The company can produce 871,000 tonnes/year of HDPE at Matagorda and 261,000 tonnes/year of HDPE at Victoria.
