MOSCOW (MRC)–Negotiations on the prices of European polyvinyl chloride (PVC) for November supplies to CIS markets started last week with most European producers decreasing PVC export prices, according to a MRC Price report.

November contract ethylene price remained at the level of October.

However, weaker demand from export markets made European producers cut export prices.

Many producers announced a price decrease of €10-15/tonne from October.

Negotiations on November deliveries of suspension polyvinyl chloride (SPVC) for the CIS markets were done in the range of €765-830/tonne FCA (free carrier), while the October deals were done in the range of €780-840/tonne FCA.

PVC supply from most producers was sufficient, there was no information about limitations.
