Innovation and investment spur polymers growth
ICIS Editorial
12-Dec-2017
North American polyolefins capacity is booming, with the US set to become a polyethylene powerhouse. But investment is not restricted to polymer production – downstream convertors are also investing to expand plastics processing capacity as customers bring back manufacturing to US shores. At the same time a renewed emphasis on innovation is also helping drive growth in the sector.
ICIS analyses recent developments in these areas and in recycling, biopolymers and 3D printing, in a special publication produced with the US Plastics Industry Association ahead of its NPE2018 trade show in Orlando on 7-11 May next year.
