Product: Methyl methacrylate (MMA)
Capacity: 250,000 tonnes/year
Event start: Early December 2017
Event finish: Early February 2018
Reason: Unplanned maintenance
Comments: The MMA unit has achieved higher operating rates, according to a source close to the company.
The unit restarted in early February, following a shutdown due to equipment issues that initially occurred in early December. The plant had started up in November. The plant capacity is understood to be 250,000 tonnes/year.
