Kazakhstan’s Neftekhim shuts PP production for scheduled maintenance

MOSCOW (MRC)–Kazakhstan’s only producer of polypropylene (PP) Neftekhim shut down its production capacities on 25 July for a scheduled maintenance, according to ICIS-MRC Price report.

The company expects to resume PP production on 20 August.

The plant’s production capacity stands at 30,000 tonnes/year.

MRC, a partner of ICIS, produces polymers news and pricing reports from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
