Kazakhstan PVC imports down 12% in 2018

MOSCOW (MRC)–Kazakhstan’s imports of unmixed polyvinyl chloride (PVC) dropped by 12% in 2018, year on year, to 45,400 tonnes, according to MRC analysts.

Chinese producers, with a market share of around 77%, were the main PVC suppliers to the country.

Russia was the second largest supplier.

MRC, a partner of ICIS, produces polymers news and pricing reports from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan.
