Global oil supply growth will be driven by the
US over the next five years as a result of the
strength of its shale industry which has
triggered a rapid transformation of world oil
markets, according to the International Energy
Agency’s (IEA) annual oil market forecast.

problems this week, prompting one chemical

US isopropanol prices have flattened out from
February and into March but face downward
pressure in the second half of this month from
falling feedstock propylene values, according
to market sources.
US Eastman to cut
jobs on trade and slower Europe, China
growth
Eastman Chemical is eliminating jobs because of
trade disputes and a slowing economy in China
and Europe, the company said on Friday.
