Scenario Planning: Things to Consider

In 2015 we have seen a recently unprecedented volatile market, with OPEC allowing the oil price to fluctuate. Planning for 2016 and beyond will require major decisions on what to budget and spend, and where.

In this webinar, Karl will review broad factors affecting the refining and petrochemical industries' planning cycle:

  • What is a reasonable base forecast for oil?
  • What are the fundamental economic and market drivers?
  • Where are the highest risk areas; what could change?
  • What kind of reality check should you do now that we are in uncharted territory?
  • Are we in a short or long term cycle?

Karl will give solid examples of scenarios, key trends for 2015/2016, and market intelligence. Using ICIS' Supply & Demand Database to give fundamental drivers, Karl will give the context and expertise needed to help you successfully plan for 2016 and beyond.
