LONDON (ICIS news)--The November paraxylene (PX) settlement in Europe was confirmed on Friday at Euro865/tonne - down Euro40/tonne on October.
The settlement, on a free delivered (FD) Northwest Europe (NWE) basis, followed an agreement between BP Refining and Petrochemicals (BPRP) and two large consumers.
Other sources, including buyers and sellers, recognised Euro865/tonne FD NWE as the November contract price but were unable to confirm it officially.
