LONDON (ICIS news)--ConocoPhillips is running its benzene hydrodealkylation (HDA) unit at Immingham, UK at 50% due to a technical glitch, a company source said on Friday.
Normal operations at the facility, which has been running at the reduced rates since Monday (2 January), are expected to resume on 7/8 January.
HDA benzene capacity at Immingham is 60,000 tonne/year.
The shutdown has not had any impact on market prices or supply to customers.
