TORONTO (ICIS news)--China’s petrochemicals major Sinopec and US fuels technology firm Syntroleum plan to cooperate on the development of natural gas-to-liquids (GTL) and coal-to-liquids (CTL) technologies, Syntroleum said on Tuesday.
The companies have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding for the construction of a 17,000 bbl/day GTL plant and a 100 bbl/day CTL plant in ?xml:namespace>
Both facilities would use Syntroleum’s proprietary GTL and CTL technologies, the Oklahoma-based company said.
