TORONTO (ICIS news)--Dow Chemical has joined the United States Climate Action Partnership (USCAP), a group that calls for federal legislation to curb greenhouse gas emissions, the company said on Tuesday.
"Climate change is real and the most urgent environmental issue our society faces,” Dow chief executive Andrew Liveris said in a statement.
USCAP members include BP, DuPont, General Electric, ConocoPhillips and other major industrial and energy companies. More information is available on USCAP’s website.
