HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Chemtura has formed the office of the chairman to improve organisational capacity and decision making, the specialty chemicals manufacturer said on Monday.
Chief financial officer Stephen Forsyth, chief business officer Robert Wedinger and chief functional and services officer David Dickey will report directly to chairman and CEO Robert Wood.
“This is a natural progression of the restructuring we announced in April,” said Wood.
“By providing more direct leadership to the commercial organisation and functions, we believe we can speed decision making and better position ourselves to deliver results.”
Middlebury, Connecticut-based Chemtura had $3.5bn (€2.4bn) in sales in 2006.
