BR Spinners plans Punjab recycled PC resins unit

NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--India’s BR Spinners Ltd has proposed to set up a 7,600 tonne/year polycarbonate resin plant at Samrala in the Ludhiana district of Punjab, a government official said on Friday.

The official said that the company would produce recycled resin from used compact discs (CDs) and digital versatile/video discs (DVDs).

The company currently produces synthetic yarn and fabrics at Ludhiana.
