HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US exports of polyethylene (PE) with a specific gravity of 0.94 or less were up by 19% in January-November of 2007 over the same period in 2006, the US International Trade Commission (ITC) said on Friday.

The PE grades included low-density PE (LDPE), linear low-density PE (LLDPE) and medium-density PE (MDPE).

Mexico was the main destination for US exports, followed by Canada. Exports to the two countries increased in November from to October. The same was true about Costa Rica and Guatemala.
