LONDON (ICIS news)--Saudi Arabian Fertilizer Co (Safco) is set to restart its IV urea unit in Al-Jubail in the coming days following planned maintenance work, a company source at the SABIC affiliate said on Wednesday.
The unit, which has a capacity of 1.1m tonnes/year of granular urea, was shut down at the end of January for scheduled work.
The source said the plant was due to be back up on schedule by 1 March. Contract customers were not impacted by the work as it was prepared for well in advance.
