LyondellBasell buys Solvay N American subsidiary

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--LyondellBasell said on Friday that it has completed the purchase of Solvay Engineered Polymers, which supplies polypropylene (PP) compounds in North America.

LyondellBasell, which is headquartered in the Netherlands, did not disclose the financial terms of the deal.

The combined North American business will be overseen by Steve Dwyer, vice president of the Automotive Americas division of LyondellBasell.
