TOKYO (ICIS news)--Mitsui Chemicals will absorb its subsidiary Mitsui Chemicals Engineering to optimise its business operations, the Japanese chemicals firm said in a statement on Wednesday.
Mitsui Chemicals Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsui, would be merged with its parent company on 1 July and would be dissolved subsequently.
Through this merger, Mitsui expected to strengthen and optimise its engineering operations and speed up the development of its new manufacturing process and reform existing processes.
Mitsui Chemicals Engineering installs machines and equipments in addition to building chemical and resin manufacturing facilities.
