Russia's Sibur-Neftekhim raises 2007 sales, profits

MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Russia's Sibur-Neftekhim increased 2007 sales by 9.7% from the previous year to roubles (Rb) 7.1bn (€191m/$303m), the Sibur subsidiary said on Tuesday.

Gross profit reached Rb1.44bn, 2.38% up, and net profit was 1% up at Rb321m, the company said in a statement.

Sibur-Neftekhim's operations include the Kstovo petrochemical plant and caprolactam, ethylene oxide and monoethylene glycol facilities at Dzerzhinsk, both in the Nizhny Novgorod region of central Russia.
