SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--DSM Nanjing Chemical Co has restored its 140,000 tonne/year caprolactam plant to normal operations following a planned shutdown in late April, market sources said on Wednesday.

The shutdown did not affect the market as demand was poor, sellers and buyers said, although the company declined to comment.

Spot prices in northeast Asia were holding steady from last week at $2,490-2,530/tonne CFR (cost and freight) on Wednesday, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
