LONDON (ICIS news)--April caustic soda stocks across Europe fell 6% on March levels, according to figures posted by the industry association Eurochlor on Friday.
Inventory levels for April totalled 260,699 tonnes, some 16,816 tonnes down from March’s figure of 277,515 tonnes, according to the Eurochlor statement.
Output of co-produced chlorine also decreased 4.4% from March, down from 912,191 tonnes to 871,743 tonnes. Average daily production fell 1.2% against March.
