NewsFlashIFA '08: China extends ferts export tax

VIENNA (ICIS news)--The Chinese government has extended the export duty on all fertilizers to 31 December, sources said on Monday.

 

Export tax on diammonium phosphate (DAP) and monammonium phosphate (MAP) is currently 135%. Triple super phosphate (TFP) is subject to 130% duty.

 

The export duty on phosphate rock was also confirmed at 120%, effective 20 May to 31 December, Chinese sources said on the sidelines of the International Fertilizer Industry Association conference.

 

The IFA conference runs from 19-21 May.
