MOVES: PlasticsEurope appoints new president

TORONTO (ICIS news)--PlasticsEurope has appointed Jacques van Rijckevorsel as its new president, the pan-European plastics industry association said on Friday.

 

Van Rijckevorsel, a member of Solvay’s executive committee and general manager of Solvay Plastics, succeeds John Taylor from Borealis.

 

Gunter Hilken from Bayer MaterialScience, Martin Pugh from INEOS Nova, and Anton de Vries from LyondellBasell were elected as vice-presidents.

 

PlasticsEurope had over 100 member companies that produce more than 90% of all plastics in the 27 EU states and in Croatia, Norway, Switzerland and Turkey, it said.
