SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India’s Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) has delayed its recently issued naphtha sell tender for mid-July lifting, industry sources said on Monday.

The tender, originally scheduled to close on 3 June and valid till 4 June, will now close on 5 June, with validity till 6 June. ONGC did not give any reasons for the change.

The tender offers a 35,000 tonne cargo for lifting over 15-16 July from Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNPT) in Mumbai in the west coast of India.

ONGC had earlier sold a 35,000-tonne cargo of naphtha for lifting from JNPT over 24-25 June to a western trader at around a premium of $20.00/tonne to Middle East quotes FOB (free on board) Mumbai.
