Thai MMA plans 9-day shutdown at Map Ta Phut

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Thai MMA will be shutting down its 90,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Map Ta Phut for a nine-day maintenance turnaround starting on 9 June, said a company source on Friday.

 

The plant should restart on 18 June, added the source.

 

Other large MMA producers in Asia include Sumitomo Chemicals, Mitsubishi Rayon Co, LG MMA, Lucite and Formosa Plastics.
