Teijin to acquire Japan composites firm GH Craft

LONDON (ICIS news)--Teijin has a agreed to buy a majority stake in advanced composite materials firm GH Craft and build a new research and development (R&D) centre at its headquarters, the Japanese specialties company said on Tuesday.

 

Teijin said the proposed centre would develop carbon fibre reinforced plastics for the automobile industry.

 

Based in Gotemba in Shizuoka, Japan, GH Craft employs 45 people. Teijin did not disclose the financial details of the acquisition.
