SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea's LG Chem has just restarted its 760,000 tonne/year naphtha cracker in Daesan after an unplanned shutdown over the weekend, according to a company source on Monday.

The cracker was shut down due to power failure and feedstock naphtha had been fed into the cracker since this morning, the source added.
The plant is currently running at 60% capacity and was expected to hit full capacity Tuesday evening, the source said.
