Akzo Nobel bags coatings deal from McDonald’s

Akzo NobelSINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Netherlands-based Akzo Nobel has won a deal to supply a range of paint products for fast food chain McDonald’s latest restaurant makeover, the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

The deal will see the company provide highly resistant powder coatings for use on furniture in all its Purely Simple outlets across Europe.

Akzo  had already won a deal from the food chain to supply Dulux decorative paints for its stores.

"This is another great example of how we are fully focused on meeting the needs and contributing to the success of our customers," said Akzo Nobel CEO Hans Wijers.

Akzo Nobel is a manufacturer of paints, coatings and specialty chemicals.
