SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--India's Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) expects to begin exporting from its new 900,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant at Jamnagar, in Gujarat state, in April, a source close to the company said on Wednesday.
"The plant should be on stream in February-March. Mechanical completion is already over, and testing of equipment and machinery is now under way," said the source.
Propylene feedstock for the plant would be sourced from the fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) unit being built alongside the new ?xml:namespace>
