SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Taiwan-based maleic anhydride (MA) producer Tasco Chemical is currently running its 25,000 tonne/year plant in Kaohsiung at full capacity amid tight inventories, a company source said on Tuesday.

“We are running the plant at 100%. Our storage tank is almost empty,” he said.

The other MA producers in the region include South Korea’s Yongsan Chemicals, Japan’s Nippon Shokubai, Taiwan’s UPC Technology and Japan’s Mitsubishi Chemical.
