SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Pilipinas Kao will shut its 100,000 tonne/year fatty alcohols plant at Jasaan City, the Philippines, for scheduled maintenance in August, a company source said on Tuesday.
“We will be shutting our plant for our annual maintenance shutdown in August for one month,” he said, adding that the company, a subsidiary of Kao Japan, had already prepared sufficient fatty alcohol inventories for its contractual customers during the shutdown.
