TORONTO (ICIS news)--Solvay has transferred its 49.99% stake in Thailand’s polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resins and caustic soda producer Vinythai to a subsidiary, Vinythai said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday.
Solvay transferred the 592.6m shares to subsidiary Solvay Chemicals and Plastics Holding, Vinythai said.
The transfer was made to unify and regroup the business according to each product sector within the global Solvay Group, Vinythai said
It would not impact Vinythai’s business operations and did not involve a change in control or any changes to its management team, it added.
