MOVES: Monsanto appoints two new presidents in Canada

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Monsanto has appointed two new presidents at its Winnipeg-based Canadian business, the US agrochemicals and seeds major said on Friday.

Ryan Baldwin was appointed to the newly created role of president of Monsanto Canada's seed and trait division, the company said. He was previously a sales director for western Canada.

Cory McArthur was appointed to the newly created role of president of Monsanto Canada's Roundup crop protection division. He was previously a Monsanto marketing director for canola and crop protection in Canada.

Monsanto also said that Lisa Safarian, previously president and general manager of Monsanto’s Canadian business, had relocated to the company’s US headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri.

She would be taking on a new role in Monsanto’s international product management and seeds and traits business, the company said.
