SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China’s Jilin JiMont Acrylic Fiber Co is expected to restart its 100,000 tonne/year acrylic fibres (AF) plant on Thursday after a one-week turnaround, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant was shut down on 18 September, the source said, without revealing further details.
The company, based at Jilin city in China’s northeastern Jilin province, is a subsidiary of Jilin Chemical Fiber Group.
Another subsidiary of the group - Jilin Qifeng Chemical Fiber Co - restarted its 136,000 tonne/year AF plant on 20 September after undergoing a ten-day turnaround, a second company source said.
