BERLIN (ICIS news)--The European October styrene truck customer reference price (CRP) has been agreed down €51/tonne ($75/tonne) from September, one producer and one consumer said on Tuesday.

The CRP was settled at €829/tonne FCA (free carrier) Rotterdam.

“I saw the producer this morning and I settled October at €829/tonne,” said the consumer involved in the negotiations, who was speaking on the sidelines of the European Petrochemical Association (EPCA) meeting.

Players had widely anticipated the fall after the European styrene barge contract was agreed last week at €829/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), down €45/tonne from September.
