LONDON (ICIS news)--Air Liquide is to design and build an air separation unit with nameplate capacity of 1,200 tonnes/day at Ninh Binh, Vietnam, the French industrial gas producer said on Tuesday.
The unit is to be operated by Vietnam National Chemical Corp (Vinachem). When completed in 2012, it will be the largest air separation unit in Vietnam, the company said in a statement.
In addition, Air Liquide said that it has commissioned two air separation units in southern ?xml:namespace>
Air Liquide's investments in the units and the related supply chain total nearly €30m ($45m), it said.
The company did not disclose the cost of the individual units.
