LONDON (ICIS news)--Major plastics producer LyondellBasell has lifted force majeure restrictions from its 210,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) unit at Carrington in the UK, a company source confirmed on Wednesday.
The plant suffered a 12-day delay to its restart in the middle of March after a planned maintenance outage and was forced to run at reduced rates due to propylene shortages.
