SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China’s Yunnan Yuntianhua Co has achieved on-spec products at its third 20,000 tonne/year polyoxymethylene (POM) plant in southwestern Chongiqng, a source from the fertilizer producer said on Thursday.

“We started trial runs early this month and achieved on-spec products on 19 April,” the source said.

“The plant is running smoothly at a high operating rate now,” he added but did not give the exact operating rate.

The company runs two other POM units at the same site with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes/year each and another 30,000 tonne/year facility in the southern Yunnan province, the source said.
